nnuendo? More like full-on sexual vibes! Welcome to After Dark 🕛 🌃, a column featuring songs that are best suited for nighttime, specifically, the bedroom.  Like Controversial Tunes 😈🎶, the records featured here raise eyebrows.  The difference between the songs of CONTROVERSY and DARK? These songs specifically focus on the universal topic of S-E-X. The dark records gracing After Dark are old and new alike, with all genres of music welcome.  On the 20th edition of After Dark, we explore the naughty, risqué, scandalous & utterly sexual vibes behind, 🎵 “Rainin’ Fellas” by 🎙 Todrick Hall

Theme & Lyrics

“Get your umbrellas, get your umbrellas / It’s raining fellas, it’s raining fellas.” My question is, WHERE – lol! With “Rainin’ Fellas” (💿 FEMULINE), Todrick Hall keeps things GAY AF.  We wouldn’t have it any other way, especially After Dark 🕛 🌃! If you’re a homophobe or don’t like your music to be queer, well, this song, and bigger picture, this artist, isn’t for you. Maybe the excerpt from the chorus isn’t too risqué for virgin ears, but the fact that “It’s raining dicks and ass, ass” on the pre-chorus may be the final straw for some.  As for me, and most open-minded folks, I’ll gladly embrace those “Muscles falling from the sky.”

Honestly, isn’t Todrick Hall’s weather report a lot more interesting and stimulating than the weather report on the local news? Sure, some of those meteorologists are easy on the eyes but what they’re giving just isn’t, well, sexy! There’s no cure for horniness like Hall’s forecast that proclaims, “It’s gon’ be raining all night / And I’m hoping it rins the kind of dudes that I like.” He later elaborates on what those dudes look like, with their “pecs and abs, abs.”  Aside from the chorus, the most fun section of this bright, energetic LGBTQ+ 🏳️‍🌈  pop gem is the bridge:

“It’s raining thighs, tris, briefs and boxers
It’s raining fly guys, flight attendants and doctors
It’s raining feminine gentlemen, dripping down like a faucet
Yeah, these boys are coming out like the sky was the closet.”

Music Video 🎶📼

Bitmoji ImageCan’t have a gay song without a gay music video 🎶📼, right? Right! Todrick Hall doesn’t hold back on the elaborate music video for “Rainin’ Fellas.”  It embraces queerness to the nth degree.  This includes cross dressing, makeup, and ample skin.  The video is unapologetically queer.  That, of course, is the effect that Mr. Hall wanted.
