airy Tales’, the new song from Thomas Cole and Lizzie Allyn, is full of charm. The song is an instant feel-good hit that grows better the more you listen to it. So, what is it about this track that makes it so appealing?

‘Fairy Tales‘ is an outlier in structure, and it remains original throughout and does not conform to recent pop conventions. Furthermore, Thomas adds fresh arrangements regularly, and the plethora of sounds that emerge from the mix keep us on our toes. Also, the musical brilliance of the two artists is contagious, and their ability to collaborate with such finesse is astonishing.

Thomas Cole takes the lead vocally on this single, and he rises to the challenge beautifully. His tones are both stimulating and relevant in the contemporary landscape. He sets the tone for the storey with his comments, speaking of finding someone despite the odds. They come from different walks of life and, even though they were probably not supposed to meet, fate has a way of bringing them together.

On the opposite side of the message, Lizzie Allyn reflects the words to Thomas. It’s a love storey, but it’s not your standard cliched love message. Instead, they talk about separation between their communities, as if their love will be frowned upon, but nothing will stop them from coming together, even if they face difficulties.
