Thomas Cole x Nathanael Hall, Free Fallin'Thomas Cole Turns It Up With ‘Free Fallin’

Contributed by George James

T

he new track ‘Free Fallin‘ exemplifies how Thomas Cole and Nathanael Hall rise to the occasion consistently. The wordplay throughout the pop dancefloor thriller provides fodder for contemplation while also getting the body moving and grooving.

Thomas Cole’s lyrics are introspective; in them, he laments the sensation of having to put in the effort to prove our own self-worth to others who may not be able to perceive our full possibility. Everyone has, at some point in their lives, most likely encountered the notion that another party cannot genuinely understand the potential we have within us and that it is up to us to prove them wrong.

The delivery has an easygoing quality to it, and it is clear that Thomas and Nathanael get a lot of joy out of what they do. The music is lively and colourful, with no drop of vitality wasted in the songwriting process. It is one of the most desirable qualities a musician or songwriter can have since it helps their work come over clearly and effectively. Additionally, given that it frequently deviates from the norm, pulling in a plethora of influences and hints from genres that extend much further than just pop and electronic, this track has the potential to open a large number of doors.

Since we have been paying attention to Thomas for the better part of a year, it should not come as a surprise that this one is meeting our expectations. He is cultivating and developing his sound, enhancing it with each new record and becoming both more confident and audacious in his performances.
