A$AP Ferg, ‘East Coast Remix’ | Track Review

Ahead of his third studio album, Still Striving, A$AP Ferg drops a star-studded banger with his “East Coast Remix.”

Cassie returns with her comeback single, “Love a Loser.” The “Me & U” hit-maker is assisted by Bay area rapper G-Eazy.

On her fourth single “Hymn,” Kesha offers up a “hymn for the hymn-less.” “Hymn” is uplifting, much like other releases hailing form Rainbow.

On “Would You Ever,” Skrillex, assisted by Poo Bear, falls short of his usual EDM glory. At best, “Would You Ever” sounds ordinary.

Lil Peep pushes the boundaries of rap, bringing a unique style. He showcases his one-of-kindness on hypnotic single, “Benz Truck.”

Seattle rapper Macklemore enlists Lil Yachty (!) for “Marmalade,” a song that despite its title, isn’t about any sort of jam or jelly.

Thomas Rhett returns with the second single from his third studio album, ‘Life Changes,’ “Unforgettable.” He showcases his sweet, thoughtful side.
