On his sexy debut single “PARiS,” Cleveland-bred musician JOEY-A introduces himself to the world as a force to reckoned with.

Alternative pop standout Lana Del Rey returns with a new, atmospheric, romantic single “Love.” Interestingly, it manages to incorporate some groove.

Alex Aiono is ready for primetime with his major label debut single, “Work the Middle.” He’s a potential superstar.

YouTube Personality and up-and-coming musician Bryan Lanning drops single “Idaho” from his highly anticipated debut album, ‘Us.’

The Chainsmokers return in 2017 with another likely hit single, “Paris.” “Paris” is enjoyable, but not particularly game changing.

Pop-rock singer-songwriter & beastly guitarist John Mayer returns with “Love on the Weekend,” a lovely single but no means the second coming.

Irish pop star Niall Horan spreads his wings and drops his debut solo single, “This Town.” The results are respectable, if predictable.

Pop singer/songwriter Andy Grammer returns with another potential [chivalrous] hit with subtle, yet enjoyable single, “Fresh Eyes.”

Katy Perry returns respectably after a three-year hiatus with Olympic single, “Rise,” which doesn’t supplant her best work.

Jidenna follows up “Classic Man” with “Little Bit More.” “Little Bit More” has some of the underpinnings of a hit, it’s lukewarm at best.

It seems as if Fergie has been trying to ‘reclaim her status’ for a couple of years. “M.I.L.F.$” is the latest attempt at her comeback.

No one will deny Shawn Mendes has “the package.” He’s got the looks and a respectable voice. Single “Treat You Better” is enjoyable but not timeless.
