Ed Sheeran shines on “Visiting Hours” the second single from = (Equals) written in remembrance of late music exec, Michael Gudinski.

Pop singer/songwriter Shawn Mendes and producer Tainy make a fantastic team on their flavorful, sexy, summery single, “Summer of Love.”

Colombian singer KAROL G and Dutch DJ/producer Tiësto make a formidable team on their brief, infectious dance single, “Don’t Be Shy.”

Actor/musician extraordinaire Ben Platt ‘shakes things up’ on his sophomore album, Reverie, further showcasing his talent and versatility.

Rapper Kodak Black drops a respectable trap banger with “Before I Go,” assisted by fellow rapper/singer Rod Wave.

Machine Gun Kelly brings ample energy and keeps it punk with respectable success on “papercuts,” but lacks innovative spirit.

“INFERNO” is a glorious, worthwhile, and ear-catching two-and-a-quarter minutes courtesy of Sub Urban and Bella Poarch.

Elton John, Dua Lipa, and PNAU gives us the groovy dance-pop bop that we didn’t even know we needed with “Cold Heart – PNAU Remix.”

Anthony Hamilton continues to a career-long flex on “Love is the New Black,” the soulful title track from his first album in five years.

Lizzo, assisted by Cardi B, shines on her first single of 2021, “Rumors.” Both ladies flip the bird to critics and haters and it’s awesome.

Although a tall task, Jennifer Hudson does a fantastic job of capturing the essence of Aretha Franklin on the Respect soundtrack.
