$NOT & Flo Milli, "Mean" [📷 : 300 Entertainment]Rappers $NOT and Flo Milli make a formidable tandem on the utterly unapologetic, ‘mean-sounding’ single, “Mean.”

“I’m a real nigga / I’m a fuck a bitch real quick in my slippers / Bitches on my dick, they gon’ dance on my lap…” Florida in the house! Not only is Florida in the house, so is absolute and utter explicitness in the hands of rapper 🎙 $NOT.  The short, two-minute-and-change 🎵 “Mean” is set to appear on his sophomore album, 💿 Beautiful Havoc.  He enlists the assist from female rapper, 🎙 Flo Milli. That’s a fierce tandem to say the least!

Obviously, $NOT is fueled up and ready to go judging by the aforementioned lyrics excerpted from the chorus. The production by Woodpecker definitely provides him with a ‘mean’ backdrop.  “Mean” is set in a minor key with dark, dramatic production that’s anchored by sleek drums.  This hence propels the Floridian, who goes on to say on the chorus, “Yeah, I like a mean bitch /…Type of bitch I don’t know about, shit.” Sure…

Beyond the chorus, $NOT keeps things tough, confident, and unapologetic.  His attitude – that attitude – never ceases. Even with bravado the likes of “Diamonds on my neck and it’s lemonade,” Flo Milli isn’t the least intimidated.  She shines on the second verse, coming off even bolder and more assertive that he does (“Every time he hit a lick, I push the gas up on the pedal / Let him hit it, now that nigga feelin’ special (Haha, he loved it).”)

Final Thoughts 💭

Ultimately, you only get so much out of two-minutes.  $NOT and Flo Milli don’t flip the game upside down – “Mean” isn’t the second coming by any means.  That said, these two make a formidable tandem with the results being quite a vibe.
