UK producer SaNTINO manages to both shock and impress on his risqué, sexually-charged, throwback single, “Boobjob.”

UK artist and producer SaNTINO is the do-everything guy on “Boobjob” (did you happen to raise an eyebrow when you read the song title?).  The dude writes, sings, and produces. Good stuff to say the least.  Notably, SaNTINO is known for using funk and disco from the 70s and 80s, blended with the sounds of the modern electronic script.  That’s definitely the effect that the listener is given on this colorful single.

“Boobjob” features a nice blend of synths and piano on the instrumental intro. This definitely sets the tone.  As referenced earlier, the record has ‘throwback’ written all over it.  The groove is funky and old-school, feeling good from the jump. Even though SaNTINO has at least one foot planted in the past, he still manages to make “Boobjob” feels incredibly fresh, with its synths, rhythmic guitars, and keyboards.  Of course, the elephant in the room must be addressed – the title and content.

Matching its risqué title, “Boobjob” features funny, absolutely filthy lyrics.  Notably, the hook, features every imaginable sexually-related activity. Truly sexed-up, this record is incredible infectious and irresistible nonetheless. The tongue-in-cheek factor is turned-up to the nth degree.  Besides the lyrics themselves, SaNTINO is incredibly playful with his vocals, using a variety of inflections and vocal effects.

Final Thoughts

Perhaps what stands out most about “Boobjob” is how colorful the sounds are. SaNTINO definitely knows how to not only choose, but mix a variety of sounds.  Furthermore, as aforementioned, the lyrics and playful vocals only add to the awesomeness.  Don’t be turned off by the filthiness. Embrace the excellence of the music, which is superb ear candy.
