Well, it is steaming hot 🥵 at midnight when it comes to this naughty, innuendo and sex-laden column featuring songs intended for nighttime. Yeah, we are talking about that after dark type $hi†, ya dig? These risqué, unapologetic records often raise eyebrows and temperature alike. It’s about sadomasochism, bondage, and BDSM.  Ooh-wee, Ri-Ri! “S&M” appears on 2010 album, Loud.  Despite its sexual freakiness, “S&M” reached no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, via the remix featuring Britney Spears.  The original version has been certified multiplatinum, while the remix has been certified gold.  Unsurprisingly, Loud gave Rihanna another multiplatinum LP. But enough about the accolades – we’re here for the sex!

Bitmoji Image“S&M” is freaky, but it’s not overly explicit despite its subject matter.  Still, the pain is prevalent, with the likes of, “Now the pain is my pleasure ‘cause nothing could measure” and “The affliction of feeling leaves me wanting more” which appear in the first verse.  In the chorus, of course, there’s “Sex in the air, I don’t care, I love the smell of it,” and of course, “Chains and whips excite me.” Again, I say, ooh-wee!  There’s also the bridge where Rihanna sings, “Give it to me strong / And meet me in my boudoir / Make my body say, ‘ah-ah-ah’ / I like it, I like it.” Besides the sexed-up lyrics and energetic vocals by Rihanna, the backdrop propels this naughty 2010s classic.  Shout out Sandy Vee and StarGate for their contributions to the freaky goodness that is “S&M”.
