Rick Glam Unveils VAMPIRE AFTER DARK

Intriguing & talented Brazilian electronic artist, Rick Glam, unveils VAMPIRE AFTER DARK (arriving April 8), an extension & conclusion of his debut EP.

Say, what?! He’s back! Who, the vampire? Yes, sort of, but most importantly, it’s the handsome, intriguing, and talented Brazilian electronic artist, Rick Glam (Paulo Silva), who’s back! In October 2025, Glam took us on a trip with his bold, thought-provoking, and unapologetically queer four-track EP, VAMPIRE. Each track on his debut EP – “VAMPIRE”, “GLORY HOLE”, “CZECH HUNTER”, and “DARK ROOM” – was ‘one of one.’ He delivered an incredibly captivating project that deserved far more recognition.  Now, Glam revisits his compelling debut via reinterpretation.  Enter VAMPIRE AFTER DARK, set for release on April 8, 2026. Prepare for even more vampirical happenings! The fangs are out!

VAMPIRE AFTER DARK revisits VAMPIRE through a series of reimagined versions crafted by Brazilian LGBTQIAPN+ artists Henryxxx, Felipe Canneli, and skylecrawling. Each of these gifted artists brings new perspectives, textures, and identities to the material.  What does Rick have to say about his new project?

“[It’s] a continuation of the VAMPIRE sonic manifesto — different rhythms blend together, enhancing freedom, desire, and sexuality without limits or guilt. The tracks from the original project have been explored by other artists and transformed into new danceable deliriums.”

Freedom, desire, and sexuality without limits? New danceable deliriums? Ooh-la-la, that sounds nothing short of engrossing, enticing, enthralling; it’s giving ALL the things! Also ‘giving all the things’ is the lead single, “VAMPIRE – Body Ritual” with Henryxxx, released on March 19, 2026.  That’s where that key, blood-sucking excerpted lyric hails from.  Beyond that uber-catchy repetitive moment, Rick Glam drops more epic banging lyrics, led by the likes of “Blood is rushing through my body, I don’t need salvation.” Collaborating with Henryxxx, “VAMPIRE – Body Ritual” offers a first glimpse into the project’s darker, more visceral direction.  The single is indeed dark… no sunshine here!

Ultimately, VAMPIRE AFTER DARK is an extension and conclusion. It concludes the cycle of VAMPIRE, reframing its themes through collaboration, multiplicity, and transformation.
