~ Album Reviews 💿 ~

Album reviews tend to follow a track-by-track format, commencing with an intro paragraph comprised of background information, and concluding paragraph that wraps things up. Also, GEMS 💎 – the best, highly recommended tracks – are selected at the end of each review. It should not come as a surprise to see the analysis run > 1000 words.

~ Song Reviews 🎵 ~

Song Reviews on the site tend to follow a format that includes an intro paragraph with background information, a body, comprised of at least one paragraph of analysis, and a concluding paragraph (older reviews) or statement (more recent reviews) that ‘put a cap’ on things. Song reviews generally run a minimum of 250 words with many running > 300 words.

Lupe Fiasco, ‘Lamborghini Angels’ | Track Review

Lupe Fiasco delivers another intelligent and clever single with  "Lamborghini Angels." As always, his flow is solid, driving, and unfaltering.

K. Michelle, Kiss My Ass | Track Review 🎵

A black woman scorned, K. Michelle means business on her explicit, unapologetic single “Kiss My Ass.” Men everywhere, beware!

Nelly Furtado, Big Hoops (Bigger The Better) | Track Review 🎵

With "Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)," Nelly Furtado creates one of the cleverer, sensual songs of 2012 sans the use 3- or 4-letter words.

Usher, “Lemme See” | Track Review 🎵

Grammy-winning contemporary R&B artist Usher shines on the sexy, sleekly produced single, “Lemme See,” featuring rapper Rick Ross.

Justin Bieber, Die in Your Arms | Track Review 🎵

“Die in Your Arms,” the 2nd single from the 2012 Justin Bieber LP, Believe, may not make me wanna ‘die in anyone’s arms’, but it’s catchy.
