~ Album Reviews 💿 ~

Album reviews tend to follow a track-by-track format, commencing with an intro paragraph comprised of background information, and concluding paragraph that wraps things up. Also, GEMS 💎 – the best, highly recommended tracks – are selected at the end of each review. It should not come as a surprise to see the analysis run > 1000 words.

Omarion has difficulty carving space in a cool urban contemporary market with his cliché new single, “BDY ON ME.”

Canadian pop artist Shawn Hook shines on the reminiscent single, “Reminding Me,” featuring Vanessa Hudgens. Both Hook and Hudgens reminisce on exes.

Paramore returns with an electrifying, new single, “Hard Times,” which serves as the promo single for its 5th studio album, ‘After Laughter.’

Charlie Puth, Attention | Track Review 🎵

Charlie Puth returns with “Attention,” presumably the promo single for his sophomore album. “Attention” is a step up, but Puth hasn’t conquered just yet.

Lana Del Rey, Lust for Life | Track Review 🎵

Alternative singer/songwriter Lana Del Rey enlists the services of urban contemporary standout The Weeknd for lustful, new single, "Lust for Life."

Kiiara, Whippin | Track Review 🎵

Kiiara returns with underwhelming new single “Whippin,” which doesn’t sound starkly different from her breakthrough single, “Gold.”

Lil Yachty, Peek a Boo | Track Review 🎵

Lil Yachty falls short on “Peek a Boo.” Although assisted by Migos, “Peek a Boo” feels lackluster and devoid of originality.
