~ Album Reviews 💿 ~

Album reviews tend to follow a track-by-track format, commencing with an intro paragraph comprised of background information, and concluding paragraph that wraps things up. Also, GEMS 💎 – the best, highly recommended tracks – are selected at the end of each review. It should not come as a surprise to see the analysis run > 1000 words.

Why Don’t We, ‘Trust Fund Baby’ | Track Review

Rising boy band Why Don’t We impresses with their slick, new single, “Trust Fund Baby.” “Trust Fund Baby” successfully blends pop, rap, and R&B.

Jennifer Lopez, ‘Us’ | Track Review

Jennifer Lopez returns with an enjoyable, danceable single “Us.” While it’s a solid record, “Us” doesn’t feel particularly ‘brand new’ or groundbreaking in the least.

Busta Rhymes, ‘Get It’ | Track Review

Veteran motor-mouthed Busta Rhymes makes a strong comeback on single "Get It," featuring Missy Elliott and Kelly Rowland.

Iggy Azalea, ‘Savior’ | Track Review

Is "Savior," the new single by Iggy Azalea a 'savior' to her diminishing career? Maybe, maybe not, but the Quavo-assisted single is better than "Team" or "Mo Bounce."

CASHAE, ‘Pieces’ | Track Review

Miami-based production duo CASHÆ - Abomb and Joseph Michael - combines forces with rising ATL singer Cristina Quinones on infectious single, "Pieces."

Banamak, ‘Sayin Nothin’ | Track Review

Banamak (Conner Bloyd) returns charged-up on his aggressive, confident, and thrilling new single, “Sayin Nothin.”

Restless Modern, Haunted | Track Review

21-year old Chicago producer-singer-songwriter Restless Modern compels on “Haunted,” a single from his forthcoming debut EP.

Lord Huron, ‘Ancient Names, Pt. I’ | Track Review

Fresh off of newfound success thanks to “The Night We Met,” Lord Huron returns in strong, capable fashion on “Ancient Names, Pt. 1,” a promo single for their forthcoming album.

Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey, ‘The Middle’ | Track Review

Zedd and Grey make magic with an unlikely musician, versatile country artist Maren Morris, on fun dance record, “The Middle.”

DNCE, ‘Dance’ | Track Review

Joe Jonas and DNCE, who thrive off of their innuendo, return with a fun and infectious, if utterly corny new single, “Dance.” Be prepared to ‘bust a groove.’
