~ Album Reviews 💿 ~

Album reviews tend to follow a track-by-track format, commencing with an intro paragraph comprised of background information, and concluding paragraph that wraps things up. Also, GEMS 💎 – the best, highly recommended tracks – are selected at the end of each review. It should not come as a surprise to see the analysis run > 1000 words.

Interpol, ‘Number 10’ | Track Review

Interpol returns after a 4-year hiatus with its 6th LP, ‘Marauder.’ Following the spirited “The Rover,” they're more electrifying on single “Number 10.”

Cody Simpson, ‘Underwater’ | Track Review

Former Australian teen heartthrob Cody Simpson returns with an enjoyable and sexy modern pop single, “Underwater.” Nothing mind blowing, but worthwhile.

Grammy-nominated Canadian R&B artist Tamia keeps its classy and uplifting on her new, love-centric single, “Deeper.”

Bazzi, ‘Beautiful (Remix)’ | Track Review

Urban-pop artist Bazzi returns with a remix of “Beautiful,” among the highlights from his debut LP, ‘COSMIC.’ He gets a lovely assist from Camila Cabello.

Hunter Hayes, ‘Dear God’ | Track Review

Hunter Hayes returns with a deep new single, “Dear God.” While the message is awesome, the musical execution is ambitious and somewhat confusing.

Jack Harlow, ‘Sundown’ | Track Review

There’s a hot, rising rapper from Kentucky and his name is Jack Harlow. He may not look the part of a rapper, but he proves he’s ‘got bars’ on “Sundown.”

Miguel, ‘Python’ | Track Review

Despite being chocked-full of potential, uneven production lacking in finesse inhibits Miguel on his slithery new single, “Python.”
