~ Album Reviews 💿 ~

Album reviews tend to follow a track-by-track format, commencing with an intro paragraph comprised of background information, and concluding paragraph that wraps things up. Also, GEMS 💎 – the best, highly recommended tracks – are selected at the end of each review. It should not come as a surprise to see the analysis run > 1000 words.

Why Don’t We, Chills | Track Review 🎵

Boy band Why Don’t We have a case of the “Chills,” and it’s not because of the cold. Blame it on matters of the heart.

Hailee Steinfeld, Wrong Direction | Track Review 🎵

Hailee Steinfeld starts 2020 off right with the superb, heartbroken pop ballad, “Wrong Direction.”  Nothing wrong with the direction here.

Morgan Wallen, This Bar | Track Review 🎵

Tennessee country artist Morgan Wallen manages to get buzzed and reminiscent simultaneously on the ‘alcoholic’ single, “This Bar.”

Lauv, Changes | Track Review 🎵

Pop artist Lauv is quite persuasive as he promotes making changes on “Changes,” the eighth record to appear on ~how I’m feeling~.

Myylo, I’m a Nice Boy Too | Album Review 💿

On his third EP, I’m a Nice Boy Too, Myylo delivers a blend of electrifying pop bops & pitch-perfect, must-hear, socially relevant gems.

Yung Pinch, Over It | Track Review 🎵

Melodic rapper Yung Pinch shines on the chilled-out “Over It,” the promo single (featuring Wiz Khalifa) from his album, BACK 2 THE BEACH.

Great Good Fine OK, 2020 | Track Review 🎵

Brooklyn synth pop duo Great Good Fine OK usher in 2020 with a pleasant and sleekly produced single, fittingly titled “2020.”

Sam Hunt, Sinning with You | Track Review 🎵

Grammy-nominated country singer Sam Hunt returns with first single of 2020, the romantic, spiritually suspect ballad, “Sinning with You.”

16yrold & KILLY, Drought | Track Review 🎵

Rap producer 16yrold collaborates with Canadian hip-hop artist KILLY for a drippy, enjoyable enough, melodic banger, “Drought.”

Justin Bieber, Yummy | Track Review 🎵

Grammy-winner Justin Bieber makes an enjoyable and respectable solo return with single “Yummy,” though it doesn’t ‘move the needle.’
