~ Album Reviews 💿 ~

Album reviews tend to follow a track-by-track format, commencing with an intro paragraph comprised of background information, and concluding paragraph that wraps things up. Also, GEMS 💎 – the best, highly recommended tracks – are selected at the end of each review. It should not come as a surprise to see the analysis run > 1000 words.

Khalid, Know Your Worth | Track Review 🎵

R&B artist Khalid collaborates with Disclosure once more for “Know Your Worth.” The results are respectable, not game changing.

Niall Horan, No Judgement | Track Review 🎵

Niall Horan delivers a respectable single with “No Judgement,” but he fails to be truly dynamic, exciting, or exhibit innovative spirit.

Anne-Marie, Birthday | Track Review 🎵

No, “Birthday” won’t change your life, but Anne-Marie is certainly liberated and relatable on the tongue-n-cheek pop single.

Nicki Minaj, Yikes | Track Review 🎵

Although she is retiring, Nicki Minaj delivers a ‘short, but sweet’ trap banger with “Yikes.” She’s not the least bit apologetic.

5 Seconds of Summer, No Shame | Track Review 🎵

Aussie pop collective 5 Seconds of Summer delivers a thought-provoking message on “No Shame,” the third advance single from CALM.

Joji, Run | Track Review 🎵

Joji surprises with his first brand-new single of 2020, “Run,” which embraces an alternative sound, contrasting his previous music.

Meek Mill, Believe | Track Review 🎵

Grammy-nominated rapper Meek Mill continues his hot start to 2020 with his second single, “Believe,” featuring Justin Timberlake.

Justin Bieber, Intentions | Track Review 🎵

Justin Bieber enlists Quavo for “Intentions,” his 4th advance single from his highly anticipated comeback LP, Changes. The results are so-so.

The Kid LAROI, Diva | Track Review🎵

16-year-old Australian rapper The Kid LAROI enlists 17-year-old rapper Lil Tecca for the melodic banger, “Diva.”

A$AP Ferg, Value | Track Review 🎵

On the relatively brief but potent “Value,” A$AP Ferg continues to do what he does best – flex hard like a boss and drop surefire bangers.
