~ Album Reviews 💿 ~

Album reviews tend to follow a track-by-track format, commencing with an intro paragraph comprised of background information, and concluding paragraph that wraps things up. Also, GEMS 💎 – the best, highly recommended tracks – are selected at the end of each review. It should not come as a surprise to see the analysis run > 1000 words.

Alicia Keys, Perfect Way to Die | Track Review 🎵

Alicia Keys remains woke to what’s concerning and plaguing the world, particularly black Americans on her single, “Perfect Way to Die.”

MORGENSHTERN & Eldzhey, Cadillac | Track Review 🎵

Russian rappers MORGENSHTERN and Eldzhey bring cockiness, confidence, and ample drip to their banger, “Cadillac.”

6ix9ine & Nicki Minaj, TROLLZ | Track Review 🎵

Controversial, ultra-polarizing rapper 6ix9ine teams up with Nicki Minaj once again for an unapologetic banger, “TROLLZ.”

Ashley Singh, 17 | Track Review 🎵

Indie pop has just opened its door to the fabulous new release from Ashley Singh. '17' is a track with heaps of charisma and a sharp melody.

Shamir, On My Own | Track Review 🎵

On “On My Own,” Shamir delivers a compelling rock anthem where he expresses being sufficient being on his own, sans love, post-breakup.

Pop Smoke, Make it Rain | Track Review 🎵

Deceased rapper Pop Smoke is unapologetic and tough AF on “Make it Rain,” the promo single from his forthcoming, posthumous debut album.

Leon Bridges, Sweeter | Track Review 🎵

Leon Bridges brilliantly captures his thoughts about race & racial injustice through the beautiful single, “Sweeter,” Ft. Terrace Martin.

G-Eazy, Love is Gone (Remix) | Track Review 🎵

JAHMED joins G-Eazy and Drew Love on the remix of “Love is Gone,” a ‘woke’ protest song that originally appeared on The Beautiful & Damned.

Lil Baby, The Bigger Picture | Track Review 🎵

Although totally unexpected, Lil Baby delivers an insightful, totally worthwhile protest anthem with “The Bigger Picture.”

Meg Lawrenson, Use My Body | Track Review 🎵

Meg Lawrenson returns with her new single 'Use My Body'. For me, possibly the best single from Meg in recent times. Read the full review.
