• West enjoys pushing the envelope…it doesn’t always work seamlessly
• He infamously stole Taylor Swift’s “thunder” at the MTV VMAs. 

• On “Famous” (The Life of Pablo) he distastefully raps, “For all my Southside n*ggas that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? • He under-promoted Yeezus; “Bound 2” was the only single that caught on.

• West references having sex with Kim on Gucci Mane’s “P*ssy Print” (Everybody Talking)
• He tends to “have no filter” – it earns him scrutiny 

• He took offense to white publications for bad reviews.
• Justin Bieber (of Kanye West): “He’s not really an asshole.” Look who’s talking…
• He nearly stole Beck’s thunder during the 2015 Grammy Awards after Beck beat Beyoncé for album of the year.

• The music video for “Famous” is creepy, provocative and voyeuristic – it pushed the envelope too far. 

• He proclaimed himself a god on “I Am a God” (Yeezus)

• Did we mention that there’s bad blood between Kanye West and Taylor Swift? Just reiterating. 

• His attempted pop-up NYC show ended up being a disaster.

• He married into the Kardashian family. You be the judge whether that’s a pro or a con.
• He named his children North and Saint West. There have been worst name for children, and “to each his/her own.”

These selected points only scratch the surface about “Mr. West.” Is he a brilliant musician but a flawed person? That, my friends, is for you to judge for yourselves.
