Osvaldo Supino, new phone | Beaming with Pride

In the 36th edition of Beaming with Pride (2025), we highlight the song, “new phone” performed by independent Italian pop artist Osvaldo Supino.

“Hey, new phone, who dis? I’ma pull up in the brand-new whip / Ya boy try me that’s real stupid / Go all out that’s all I do babe.” Oh, snap, Osvaldo Supino! Better yet, oh, shit! The handsome and talented independent Italian musician brings the heat to the short but sweet “new phone”. This sassy AF anthem is the seventh track from his 2025 album, fine, thanks. Supino wrote and produced “new phone” with Jorge Isaac Garcia Diaz De Leon.  Did I mention that the results are effin’ fab?!

You won’t be able to resist dancing and feeling yourself on “new phone.” Osvaldo Supino radiates with confidence as he sings over the sleek, sickening backdrop. He sounds like he’s living his best life – having plenty of fun.  “Can somebody get me two of these / Ain’t got time for the birds and the bees,” he sings, adding, “Make your money overseas.” Woo! Osvaldo doesn’t cease his confidence there. “Everywhere I go / Collateral effects,” he brags, mentioning those salty, jealous boys. Of course, they are “Looking at my moobies,” and while “They’re about to leave,… I’ve got my papi.” All told, “New phone” is a surefire bop.  It is a blast to listen to this carefree, fabulous, and fierce pop joint.  “My anxiety is chronic, but this ass is iconic.” Indeed, Osvaldo, indeed! I couldn’t have said it any fiercer myself !
