Myylo, who can do no wrong, continues his streak of must-hear pop bops with the incredibly infectious “Tally Ho.” Yeehaw!
“Oh
/ I like country chromosomes / Buffalo Bill ride me like a rodeo / Count me as your next one.” Say what? If I haven’t made it clear after tracking him for years, 🎙 Myylo CAN DO NO WRONG. Don’t you dare come at him – I won’t have it! The pop star is adventurous, unafraid to exhibit innovative spirit. Furthermore, firmly planted in the LGBTQ community, he knows who he is, and who his fan base is, and continues to make colorful, compelling music. His latest earworm, 🎵 “Tally Ho” continues his surefire excellence. Adding to that excellence – how about some gay horse racing? Hell yeah, yeehaw cowboy! So, why is “Tally Ho” another triumph for my boy? Easy. Firstly, he and 🎼✍ Christian Fiore continue to write these catchy, fun songs together. The lyrics are tongue-n-cheek and in this case, countrified, which adds another level of allure. The chorus is everything: “Tally Ho / Giddy Up /… Country kid / Look at you go / Giddy on up yeah.” As always, Myylo is a sound vocalist with a youthful spirit that is as infectious as the lyrics he sings. He exudes personality, something that can’t be said of some mainstream artists – yeah, I said it. The production is sleek, idiomatic of the 2020s with those mammoth drums and sweet guitars. Also, can’t fail to mention that music video, which is entertaining and just happens to feature roles by some of Myylo’s talented friends including 🎙 Clinton John and 🎙 Carlos Guevara.
Final Thoughts 💭
Am I a Myylo STAN at this point? Perhaps, and that’s not a bad thing, I promise! But, objectively speaking, he continues to ‘do the damn thing,’ period. I love the fact that he infuses this country element into “Tally Ho.” As previously stated, he’s unafraid to try new things and that is the mark of a great artist. Go on and lock in “Tally Ho” into your listening rotation – you won’t regret it!
