Minna Ora, Fire | Track Review

inna Ora takes us deep into her realm with her fresh new release, ‘Fire‘. It is a track that speaks candidly about difficulty, and the Finnish born vocalist’s approach to songwriting is exhilarating.

‘Fire,’ a one-of-a-kind and dynamic song, blazes through the speakers with ferocity. It has a terrifying quality to it that will keep you hooked. It all starts with a rising overture that features a booming piano. The sound of a slow-flowing sound pouring through the mix synergises with a supporting vocal.

Minna confidently takes up the microphone. She sings as if she intends to continue, her strength cutting through the calm mix. She also keeps true to her past releases, with her indie-folk vibe pulling her ahead. There’s also a serene vibe to the song, which lends even more emotion to the already emotional release.

As the song progresses, we hear a slew of new sounds emerge. It keeps the track interesting from beginning to end, and it never becomes monotonous. In addition, each segment is slightly different. Furthermore, the chorus is powerful, and the energy is flowing like a leaking faucet. Similarly, the mix deepens, with the musical instrumental stepping up the tempo and slamming us in the face like a tonne of bricks.

‘Fire‘ is an adventure that makes an impression. Minna’s ability to lift us high above the ground and then gently prop us back down on the ground is one of my favourite things about her. Imagine soaring through the skies with Minna by your side if you let yourself go.
