Prepare to beam with P-R-I-D-E! Beaming with Pride celebrates, embraces, and spotlights songs by LGBTQ musicians or allies.  Here, we provide background and insight into musicians, analyze, plus go gaga over the decadent bops served up.  When songs dictate deeper and more transcendent discussion, we ensure the point is fully articulated.  All styles of music are welcome, whether the songs are classics or brand-new. So, without further ado, in the 26th edition of Beaming with Pride (2026), we highlight “Lube For The Sleigh” performed by Matt Rogers.

“When all of the elves claim the bag’s way too tight / And maybe we shouldn’t do this tonight…”
Tight? Do? Matt Rogers, are you talking about toys fitting into a back, or a particular hole being, um, impenetrable?  The innuendo is ripe on “Lube For The Sleigh”, which is eyebrow-raising for any time of the year. Our handsome actor, comedian, and singer continues, “Santa gets crafty, ‘cause Santa knows / He goes to his tool shed, he goes to get…” LUBE! Rogers and Henry Koperski composed this novel, lube-driven holiday track.  Gabe Lopez and Leland produced it.

“Lube For The Sleigh” thrives on its outlandishness.  Dirty Santa is everybody’s cup of tea. Hey, I have a Santa that twerks something fierce! Santa doesn’t play about his lube.  In the first chorus, Matt Rogers asserts, “Break out the Gun Oil® and fire away / Cover the presents in lube / Lube for the sleight.” Gun Oil®, huh? That’s some high-quality shyt!  Of course, in the second verse, the quantity of the presents can be likened to size: length, and girth 😈.  In the second chorus, Matty doesn’t merely innuendo, he penetrates! Well, Santa penetrates: “Santa saves Christmas, then dicks down his wife / Lube on the presents tonight / Lube for the sleigh.” Damn, Santa! The bridge gives us one more sexual moment, perhaps even gay… “Donner and Blitzen, they find themselves all alone / And in a moment of pure attraction…” Well, thanks to the lube, they can play! It is worth noting that the gender of either reindeer is unspecified.  Outlandish AF, Matt Rogers sells it.  He delivers a playful, well-rounded vocal performance.  The production is well-rounded – far more sophisticated than the double entendre, innuendo, and such. Again, Gun Oil® in a Christmas song? Wild! And once that tempo kicks in, the dance party begins on “Lube For The Sleigh”.  Inspiration for adult fun during the holidays? It just depends on what turns you on!
