Jazz is NOT boring, PERIOD. 🎙 Mathew V (Mathew Van Vooght) confirms this on his playful, sassy, tongue in cheek jazzy single, 🎵 “My Boy”. “My Boy” graces Van Vooght’s 2023 jazz LP, 💿 Anything Goes (arrives April 14, 2023). Notably, the talented, openly gay artist has appeared on The Musical Hype in the past – 🎵 “Dancing in the Sky” (2022) and 🎵 “Catching Feelings” (2019). However, this is the first time Mr. V has been highlighted embracing vintage music of the past. The thing is, “My Boy” is not old. Sure, this original penned and produced by Van Vooght and 🎼 ✍ 🎛 Ben Dunnill channels the past – a Marilyn Monroe-inspired record – it sounds quite refreshing in 2023.
