Mason Ramsey [Photo Credit: Atlantic / Big Loud]11-year old rising country artist Mason Ramsey continues to impress on “The Way I See It,” his fourth single post-yodel viral breakthrough.

So far, the career of Mason Ramsey is off to a roaring start. One viral video of the ‘yodeling Wal-Mart kid’ translated into a record deal with Atlantic (Big Loud). Following the release of his post-yodeling, debut country single “Famous”, Ramsey ‘returned to his roots,’ delivering a stellar studio version of the Hank Williams classic, Lovesick Blues”. Smartly, him and his team look to the late, great country icon again for another cover, “Jambalaya (On the Bayou)”.  Ramsey continues to shine on the spirited single, “The Way I See It.”

“The Way I See It” definitely doesn’t sound like the type of record one associates with an 11-year old kid.  Doesn’t matter because Mason Ramsey sounds incredibly impressive, exhibiting the appropriate, characteristic attitude to successfully pull it off.  That includes the signature country twang – this is southern to the core. Clearly, this kid’s musical aptitude is off the charts as he nails the technical aspects of this record. Yeah, someone older and more seasoned could do wonders with this, but this ends up being the perfect fit for Ramsey, particularly the pre-chorus and chorus.

Final Thoughts

To reiterate, Mason Ramsey is the God-sent wunderkind of country music – period.  Ramsey has an incredibly impressive voice to be merely 11 years old.  Just imagine the beast he’ll be as he matures! Country has found its new rising star – no questions asked.
