Lucas Rizzo is the Italian born artist who is taking us all into a new realm of dark pop. Electronic music runs through this musicians veins, mix that with commercial pop, and the result is a banger.

I only received his new track โ€œHell of a Heavenโ€ this week, ever since I first clicked play, I have been coming back to it time and again. It is touching in delivery. Also, it appears the singer has taken a leaf out of the books of the some of the greats. It, for me, is a hybrid of all things remarkable in the current scene. There is a hint of The Weeknd, but also I can hear a Tame Impala vibe peaking through as well.

Nevertheless, it is unique and stands up for itself. It captives from the first play and the vocal which Lucas puts out is pretty damn awesome too. The track, as I understand it is all about a conflict of something. It could be a relationship or even a job, but the bottom line is that there is good and evil in everything. He hits the nail on the head with his lyrical tongue, and I am not surprised to see it catching on with his social media fan base.

Fast forward six months to a year and I could easily see this artist taking on some of the music big hitters. But, that is not to say it will be easy for the artist because he still has a few more tracks ahead of him to prove his quality even more and cement his name as a serious and unstoppable pop player of the new decade.
