Aww, shee-it! Prepare to be shooketh! Spicy Tunez is a column filled with naughty, sometimes controversial, and NSFW songs 👀. Some songs merely dabble in innuendo and suggestiveness. Others, however, go whole-hog and embrace a give-no-fucks aesthetic, thrive on sexual endeavors, utter shock value, and sometimes find themselves firmly embroiled in censorship… DUN, DUN, DUN! Spicy Tunez consolidates those Controversial Songs and that piping hot, sensually charged Midnight Heat. In the 20th edition of Spicy Tunez (2026), we explore the controversial, eyebrow-raising, naughty, sexed-up vibes behind “No Time for Lube” by Lividity.
“No Time for Lube” begins with a colorful drum run. The drums cook throughout. Another bright spot in such a dark record is the distorted, jagged, and raucous guitars. Then come the disturbed, damned, and unclean vocals. Deciphering the lyrics without looking at them is damn-near impossible. The vocals are hellish! Given the eyebrow-raising title and the gritty vocals, the effect of a lack of lube in a sinister sexual situation is effectively captured: “No time for lube, you fucking skank.” Holy shit, Lividity! Of course, it doesn’t end there. “Your eyes fixated on my dry tool, bitch I best not pull out any stool,” is insane. The villainous vocalist clearly wants her to suffer, asserting, “Try to spit on my cock, I dare you to / I’ll rectally violate you, all night long / Screams of anal agony, go unheard.” Yikes… As the song progresses, the misogyny and unapologetic lyrics grow even more shocking. One more low light for shock value:
“Thrusting hard cock, balls deep, sack beating up your clit
Pull out my shit-laden cock, the stench just will not quit
Bitch pass gas, let me see that cum bubble out your ass.”
Um, yeah, that’s pretty shitty. Anyway, “No Time for Lube” can best be described as something else. It’s amazing how brutal death metal always continues to be shocking and go over the edge.
