ittle Moses Jones, the singer-songwriter based in Colorado known for lifting people’s spirits in general, has returned with a new track titled ‘City Or Country‘, which is more appropriate than ever.

The infectiously positive vibe of this song makes it impossible to say no to listening to it. The song starts with a blues-pop groove, which makes it difficult for us to keep our hands and feet still as they begin to move to the rhythm of the beat. It is the song that the world needs now more than ever before because it reminds us that life is for living, and it keeps the doom and gloom that so frequently rises firmly at the door.

Many people may compare Moses‘ performance to something that might have appeared on an early Calvin Harris album because his singing has a nostalgic funk flavour to it. However, a bit more backing harmony would have brought more weight to the mix. Nevertheless, he manages to pull it off with flying colours, and there is plenty of distinctive charisma pouring through the up-and-coming musician.

Overall, ‘City Of Country‘ from Little Mones Jones is a splendid release and an indication of what to expect from his future releases, hopefully of which will arrive in the not-so-distant future!
