Lil Pump, "Pose to Do" (Ft. French Montana & Quavo) [Photo Credit: Warner Bros.]Continually uninspired, Lil Pump returns with another forgettable, mediocre, and recycled banger, “Pose to Do,” featuring French Montana and Quavo.

The world has its fair share of problems, yet Lil Pump, assisted by French Montana and Quavo don’t seemed concerned with legitimate problems.  What am I referring to? Well, “Pose to Do,” a new single attributed to Pump offers the same ‘tried-and-true’ flex actions that ANY rapper could offer on ANY given day.  In other words, none of the three rappers go to great lengths to deliver much artistry or innovative spirit on “Pose to Do” – this is a ‘been there, done that’ type affair. Ugh!

After the utterly dumb intro, Quavo (king of hooks) handles the deepest chorus I’ve heard in some time, SAID NO ONE EVER.  “What I’m supposed to do? /… I’m surrounded by all these bad bitches / I’m surrounded by bad bitches, but I only want two.” Really? From there, Lil Pump continues his mediocrity, saying nothing of note on the first verse, unless you consider “Bitches in my room and I left them for you / She might be a thot, but I’m a thot too” as being notable.  Again, ugh!  French Montana keeps it basic AF on the second verse, continuing to struggle with constructing an artistic identity as he has throughout his career.  The final two lines of his verse are cringe-worthy: “Nigga, I’m the truth, coupe lookin’ like a torpedo / Carlito’s Way, and got the album on the way, Montana!” UGH!

Final Thoughts

If it wasn’t crystal clear throughout this review, “Pose to Do” is another recycled, utterly forgettable banger.  Lil Pump had something with “Gucci Gang”, but since then, he’s been so-so at best.  Honestly, ask yourself, will you remember “Pose to Do” a year from now? NO. Better yet, what about a month or a couple of months from now? NO. Exactly!
