Lil Pump, Multi Millionaire [Photo Credit: Warner Bros.]Lil Pump taps Lil Uzi Vert for his new, flex-heavy single, “Multi Millionaire.” Safe to say, ‘transcendence’ isn’t part of the modus operandi in the least.

Lil Pump continues ‘pumping’ out new music on a regular basis.  He’s young, but the future is incredibly bright.  That said, the quality of the music he’s releasing has the tendency to be ‘sketchy’ in my opinion. A perfect example of the sketchiness is the empty “Drug Addicts”.  While his latest single “Multi Millionaire” isn’t nearly as shameful as his pro-drug anthem, it’s certainly nowhere close to being ‘deep’ either.  For “Multi Millionaire,” Pump enlists Lil Uzi Vert for the assist.

“Multi Millionaire” clocks in at under three minutes – that’s certainly enough Lil Pump in one song, keeping it 100.  The production is a selling point: wacky synths, and an aggressive, anchoring beat.  All told, “Multi Millionaire” is a flex track, featuring the typical ad-libs from Pump. He handles the hook, and like the rest of the song that follows, the substance is lacking:

“Multi-millionaire / Multi-millionaire / If you rich, put your bust down in the air…”

On the first verse, he raps about sex, drugs (cocaine, Mollies, Actavis), and money.  On the second, he hands the keys over to Lil Uzi Vert, who doesn’t exactly ‘broaden the horizons.’  “I f**ked you lil b***h, took her right out in London” serves as a prime example of the subject matter gracing the record.

Final Thoughts

Ultimately, Lil Pump will tickle some folks’ fancy, while others will be crying foul.
