Lil Baby, “Frozen” | Track Review 🎵

Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Baby is on fire on his latest banger, “Frozen,” which isn’t the least bit chilly!

“Can someone come unthaw my heart? I think it’s frozen.” Now that, folks, is one killer line.  Of course, everyone knows at this point that 🎙 Lil Baby can slay a beat! He does just that on another single, 🎵 “Frozen” where his flow is stone cold and electrifying simultaneously.  With 🎛 Ant Chamberlain and 🎛 STG Beats behind the boards, Lil Baby eats!

As you can imagine, Lil Baby has plenty to say. In addition to his compelling flow, it’s the many things he says that make “Frozen” stand out.  In the lengthy first verse, there are no shortage of standout lines. “I know niggas want me to fall but I’m steady goin’ uphill,” he asserts, continuing, “Started from the bottom, how the fuck I’m up here?” Woo! Of course, the best line of the entire song appears at the end of verse one: “Keepin’ it one million, I’m too real to say that I’m one hundred / You are not the one ‘cause you got money, real shit.” Damn, that line goes hard! Similarly, the second verse has its own share of lit moments, whether its where you can find Lil Baby or “You let that shit come out yo’ mouth, now you can’t press rewind, it’s stuck there / Five million cash, all blues, you get a rush, yeah.” Let’s not forget the chorus, which is wordy – typical of Lil Baby – but catchier than some of his joints. That, of course is where we find the brilliant gem, “Can someone come unthaw my heart? I think it’s frozen.”

Final Thoughts 💭 

Make sure you listen to “Frozen” more than once. I promise you this banger is even better the second time. The reason why it’s successful is respectable production, that compelling Lil Baby flow, and perhaps, most of all, the clever, potent lines the rapper serves up. Fire!
