Lil Baby, Errbody [📷 : Quality Control Music]The hits keep on coming for Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Baby, who shines once more on his newest single, “Errbody.”

“Off this rap shit, I can’t even talk about this trap shit / I just hope they can take it, I keep a Stallion like Megan.” 2020 has been a difficult year, so, you take victories where you can get them. For 🎙 Lil Baby, there have been plenty of wins.  Where so many musicians have experienced losing seasons, the 🏆 Grammy-nominated rapper has feasted.  He’s back once again with a new single, 🎵 “Errbody,” which suggests the future continues to be bright for the Atlanta rapper.

“Errbody” clocks in at just about three-and-a-half minutes, which is solid duration for a full-length rap track. It features dark, dramatic, minor key trap production by 🎙 Section 8.  The beat is the key component. There are a few contrasts within the backdrop, but nothing earth shattering beyond the script established early on. That’s fine, given the work that Lil Baby puts in.  Post-intro, Baby comes out hot and swinging on the chorus:

“I’m flyer than everybody
Helicopter in the middle of the hood
I’m flyer than everybody
All this fame these niggas be chasin’
I swear I don’t care about it...”

The chorus is quite wordy, as you can read, yet it manages to be relatively catchy. As usual, Lil Baby impresses with his flow, which is quite agile, coupled with this southern accent. As always, I enjoy his vocal inflections, as well as how syrupy he sounds as he raps. Lyrically, he keeps it real, while also managing a few clever lines here and there over the course of three verses.

Final Thoughts 💭

Worth repeating, Lil Baby has been a beast in 2020.  Does “Errbody” top his best work? No, but as aforementioned, it does led me to believe that this train won’t be stopping anytime soon for the trap standout.
