Latto, ISSA PARTY | Track Review 🎵

Grammy-nominated rapper Latto taps BabyDrill for the assist on the hard-nosed banger, “ISSA PARTY.”

“Ibeen puttin’ belt to ass all summer / I feel like y’all bitches’ mama, yeah.” Holy sh💩t, what an assertion, 🎙 Latto. The 🏆 Grammy-nominated rapper returns with a banger, 🎵 “ISSA PARTY”, featuring fellow rapper, 🎙 BabyDrill.  They’re backed by banging production, anchored by a hard-hitting beat, courtesy of 🎛 Pooh Beatz, Go Grizzly, and Tommy Parker.  What more can you say but, Pooh, you a fool for this one.  It’s worth noting, Pooh and his fellow producers samples a 2010 🎙 Waka Flocka Flame joint, 🎵 “Grove St. Party”.

Both Latto and BabyDrill are aggressive and unapologetic in their bars. Latto isn’t soft in the least: “ Stop callin’ me sis, lil’ ho, you know you ain’t no kin to me (I don’t know you) / I done dropped my nuts 🥜 on all these bitches, yeah, I’m Himothy, real shit (I’m her).” Of course, in the chorus, she makes it clear, “It’s a party,” however, the fact that she’s “got shots for all the opps, it’s a holiday” probably isn’t a good thing for them 😬.  As for BabyDrill, he takes the reins in the second verse, asserting, “And bitch, I’m BabyDrill, made my name off puttin’ shit in the grave,” and “Glock bisexual, talkin’ crazy, quick to smack a bitch.” WOO! One thing’s for sure, both rappers take issue with bitches… those poor female dogs 🤭 🤣!  All in all, 🎵 “ISSA PARTY” gives Latto another banger.  It’s not the second coming but as usual, the sugar honey iced tea slaps!
