Prepare to beam with P-R-I-D-E! Beaming with Pride celebrates, embraces, and spotlights songs by LGBTQ musicians or allies.  Here, we provide background and insight into musicians, analyze, plus go gaga over the decadent bops served up.  When songs dictate deeper and more transcendent discussion, we ensure the point is fully articulated.  All styles of music are welcome, whether the songs are classics or brand-new. So, without further ado, in the 18th edition of Beaming with Pride (2026), we highlight “Cuntology 101” performed by Lambrini Girls.

“Getting used to saying no is cunty.”
👀 🤔 Say what, now, Lambrini Girls?! “Learning how to let go is cunty / Having cum on my shirt is cunty.” Hmm, cum on the shirt… wouldn’t that be more, um,  cummy 😝? Anyway, according to the LGBTQ Brighton, UK punk rock group comprising Phoebe Lunny (she, they; lead vocals, guitar) and Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez (she/they; bass and backing vocals), everything is cunty – their words, not mine! The brief “Cuntology 101” concludes their 2025 album, Who Let The Dogs Out. Lunny and Macieira-Boşgelmez co-wrote “Cuntology 101” with Jack Looker. Lunny, Macieira-Boşgelmez, and Daniel Fox produced it.

The first verse, excerpted above, is quite outlandish. Better yet, it’s incredibly cunty! The same can be said of the second verse.  What other things are C U Next Tuesday-E according to Phoebe Lunny? Therapy, autistic meltdowns, shagging, pooing, stealing shit… The chorus is the centerpiece:

“C-U-N-T

I’m gonna do what’s best for me

I’m cunty

That’s cunty

C-U-N-T

I’ll promise my own needs

I’m cunty

That’s cunty, cunty, cunty

Whoa.”

Whoa, indeed! Has there ever been a song that used the c-word this much? There is also the bridge where the word reappears, in some form, several times.  “Tonight,  I’m gonna be a massive whore /… I don’t care if you slut shame.”  Word. Furthermore, the Lambrini Girls ensure we understand, “I’m cunty / It’s ‘Cuntology 101,’ bitch.” Woo! Phoebe Lunny and Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez bring mad energy on “Cuntology 101” – that’s an understatement.  Unapologetic to the nth degree, zero fucks are given. The drums (Jack Looker) pummel, the distorted guitar catches the ears, the bass provides a mean foundation, the vocals cut like a knife, and, well, ample C-U-N-T is served.
