Kingdumb Releases ‘JDM’

M
ultifaceted musician, Kingdumb is red-hot with his new release, ‘JDM‘. The fresh track is a hybrid fusing many styles into one, and it leaves a flavoursome impression from the first second. It starts with an unconventional overture, and a panpipe lead drives the track forward ahead of a convincing rap performance from the up and coming British producer. Furthermore, Kingdumb, who produces all of his music, takes a hint from the likes of Example, lending a top-class vocal delivery to the mix, and it pays off with distinct charm.
Musically, ‘JDM‘ does not follow a generic rule. Instead, the soundscape ventures into an entirely new space of its own, with many sounds rising from the mix. Also, Kingdumb speaks about a topic that is not customary; his love for Japanese motors. Moreover, he reveals a narrative about driving around in his ‘JDM‘; doubtful you will find another track closely aligned.
As the track progresses, Kingdumb leverages his distinct appeal with a beat rhythm that taps away with infectious cadence. Likewise, an Asian sounding loop appears in the midsection with a synth arrangement which gradually makes its way to the forefront. But, one element which seems to lack weight is the bass groove. So much so, it feels as though a nail-biting bass hook would have created even more depth. However, the sounds which are on display do push through with strength.
