endow and Vanessa Bartley team up for new COVID related track, “We Will Survive The Coronavirus”. It is a track which heads down the optimistic route, and it gives us hope and joy we all need, especially leading up to the festive period.

Musically, “We Will Survive The Coronavirus” is a feel-good cocktail of funk blended with pop. Furthermore, it has a groovy rhythm, and it boasts layers of flavoursome tones which makes it a refreshing listen. Also, Vanessa leaps forward with confidence, and her ability to churn out a powerful vocal is impressive.

However, some of the lyrics are a little unusual given that it speaks about taboo topics, but it has a full meaning. Moreover, if you listen carefully, it is all about getting through the hurdles we are all facing in our lives, and it instils a joyous sensation that we will be okay in the end.

As the track progresses, Kendow delves deep into his production tool kit, and he rises to the top with the goods. Also, I enjoy how he regularly switches up the structure with the track providing an exciting foundation from the get-go.

So, is this the soundtrack for the pandemic? Well, it for me is one of the more feel better tracks about the current times. Especially given the number of gloomy covid tracks which have been appearing of late. However, given that a COVID-19 vaccine is on the way, it could become one of those tracks which becomes very short-lived.
