ulia Thomsen soothes the soul with her new composition, ‘Paradise‘. It is a delivery that captivates and leads to a corner of the world where only calmness exists.Beautifully put together, Julia’s salient piece is the ideal spring gift. It is a direct reflection of nature which is blossoming around us all. Julia has also cited many times that she finds inspiration from natures beauty, and she instantly resonates here. Her passion leaks out of the mix. Moreover, it opens with a gradual overture which strikes when the violin lead appears. The violin is a new addition for Julia, and it gives her a new quality in the classical space.
Based in London but hailing from Scotland, Julia has taken a giant leap over the last year, having racked up more than 500,000 streams on Spotify, and it evident that she possesses the golden touch. Also, she has made full use of the lockdown time working on the new material.
Overall, ‘Paradise‘ is a reflective composition. It is the ideal time for it to arrive too, given the year we have all experienced. Nevertheless, although the new performance is impressive, it is somewhat too succinct. It is true that short and sweet works well, but possibly Julia has gone a little too ephemeral here. As a result, it gets to the closing stage within a minute of opening and considering its top quality, it deserves a lot longer airtime. However, there is nothing the replay button cannot fix.
‘Paradise‘ comes with six other treasures, which are equally as captivating. Furthermore, the collection opens with ‘Paradise‘, and by the time you have got down to the final track, ‘Village Life Live‘, you will be feeling energised and stress-free with long-lasting memory that you will not want to forget in a hurry.
