Ah, bring on Midnight Heat 🕛 🔥! Wait – it is not usually hot at midnight! Well, it is steaming hot 🥵 at midnight when it comes to this naughty, innuendo, and sex-laden column featuring songs intended for nighttime. We are talking about that after-dark type $hi†, ya dig? These risqué, unapologetic records often raise eyebrows and temperature alike.  In the 66^th edition of Midnight Heat (2024), we explore the naughty, sexy vibes behind, “DOD” by JT.

“I ain’t never ran from the dick (Never) / Smack it from the back, I’m a dance on the dick (Ow).” Ooh-wee! Holy smokes, JT! JT, known as one half of the female rap duo, City Girls, doesn’t hold back on “DOD”, the fifth track from her debut mixtape, City Cinderella.  “DOD” is an acronym for dance on [the] dick 🍆. Charming.  In the chorus, the section to beat on this dick-driven joint, “Slide down the pole and land on the dick / Spit, no hands on the dick (ugh) / Let me get on top, I’ma dance on the dick (ow).” It’s ‘clear as mud’ what she’s getting at, right? Damn right!  Who helps JT dance on the D? Boysarerolling, CuBeatz, and Xander Linnet produce, giving JT a banging and sickening backdrop. Part of the allure of the backdrop is the world music cues, specifically the sitar and percussion sounds from India. Once the beat drops JT kicks ass and takes names!

The chorus is the section to beat.  That’s where the dick dancing takes place! But, JT also ‘gets it in’ throughout two verses. The lyrics are eloquent… said no one, ever.  “I’m a badass bitch with my rich ass (JT) / I need a big dick nigga with a big bag,” she spits in the first verse, adding, “Come fuck me standing up, I’m a dance on the dick / Chinese splits, I’ma land on the dick.” NSFW, NSFW, NSFW! For good measure, she informs us, “Pussy so wet, he go and swim this shit.” There’s even more unapologetic naughtiness in the second verse: “Hiss, moving like a snake in this bitch / I clap, my ass’ll start a earthquake in this bitch.” Gah-day-um! “DOD” is not deep or safe for work, but, it’s a surefire, entertaining, sexed-up rap banger.  The midnight heat is scorching!
