JOSHUi, Ends | Track Review 🎵

JOSHUi is the latest hip hop name to come out of the UK’s capital. His music is fresh, courageous and full of energy, like music, like the creator. Because the same goes for the rapper, who originates from Manchester.

His new track, “Ends,” is a must-hear. Also, if like me, it will catch you off guard. I was not expecting to be quite as mesmerised by his delivery as I was. The first play for me was on my daily jog, and it got the hairs on the back of my neck standing. Why? Not just because it increases the endorphins with its inspiring beat but also because of the passion and conviction within JOSHUi’s words.

But, this rapper is not a novice. JOSHUi has countless years of experience delivering top bars and is now starting to shake up the industry with his no-nonsense attitude and Stella hip hop vibes. Yet, I do believe he has some way to go until he takes over the hip hop throne. Originality is here, but I would like him to stray further into his own direction and leave behind the contemporary influence which I am hearing. But, I do not blame him for matching the big hitters in the industry with sound. Yet, to leave a legacy, a more original path may need to be taken.

Fast forward two years from now and I imagine JOSHUi is up there with the most reputable names within this forever growing scene. I am confident he has the drive and dedication to do it; this track is proof of that. His character needs no questioning. Vocally, it is on point. Also, the music comes fresher than a bag of apples. Lyrically, he is like a walking dictionary with his poetic tongue being put genuinely on display.
