Ivan Makvel, How You Make Me Feel | Track Review 🎵

It starts with a groovy nostalgic overture with many instruments leading the way forward. Instantly, though, it is evident that it is going to become a funk treasure with a gradual rise which gets the listener hooked and ready for what is to come next; it does not disappoint either.

Furthermore, in the first verse, Ivan gets down to business quickly and unleashes a top-class vocal delivery, and he cleverly layers his lead vocal with a robotic vocal backing. It has a very futuristic feel, and it paves the way for future electro-pop. Also, the instruments become more profound, and they get the breathing space they deserve in the bridge section. Moreover, Ivan brings in many brass instruments, which gives the track a new layer, and all the components synergise well to create a memorable experience.

As you would expect, given the title, it is a heartfelt release about someone who Ivan cherishes the most. Nevertheless, the message does not play the focal role in the track, given that the music often dominates the storyline. It is most likely intentional given that Ivan is a producer by trade, and he has a talent within his production that deserves the limelight.

Overall, ‘How you Make Me Feel‘ is the gem that never gets tiresome. So much, it will most likely still be blasting out of speakers for a long time.
