pride heart burstLyrically, there are all sorts of ear-catching moments.  The big takeaway doesn’t seem to be a traditional approach to songwriting, but more of the overall aesthetic and vibe (Note: the lyrics are fun, tongue-in-cheek, and wild, baby!).  The production and sound, which embrace the  burgeoning anti-pop movement, stands out the most.  This ambitious record always seems to have a lot going on. The beat, and its many variations, is electrifying from the jump.  The synths, also varied throughout, give the audience a picturesque music experience.  Alongside those synths are sound effects, further enhancing the colorful palette.  Of course, shout out the vocals, which often play a role as another layer in the multilayered production.  Some of the lines aren’t perfectly quantized which would be a rub in some cases but actually serves as part of the charm here.  All told, the best analysis for the surefire LGBTQ Bop 🌈🎶 that is 🎵 “DummyThicc” is to listen and partake of the fierceness for yourself!
