It only took the greatest rapper of our generation to unseat Ed Sheeran.  Kendrick Lamar climbs two rungs on the Billboard Hot 100 to claim the no. 1 spot.  “Humble.” Gives the West Coast rapper his first no. 1 hit as a solo artist.  Beyond K-Dot, there are more takeaways from the Hot 100 dated May 6, 2017.

  1. Ed Sheeran saw “Shape of You” fall from no. 1 to no. 2 after 12 nonconsecutive weeks at no. 1.
