Billboard Hot 100: The Chainsmokers spend an 11th week at no. 1 with “Closer.”  The Weeknd continues to be stuck at no. 2 with “Starboy.”

For an 11th week, The Chainsmokers reign on the Billboard Hot 100.  “Closer” literally seems unstoppable.  That’s likely what The Weeknd is thinking, considering he’s got a hit on his own hands at no. 2 (“Starboy”).  With The Chainsmokers and The Weeknd being the biggest stories, there are more interesting tales on the November 12, 2016 edition of the Hot 100.

 

  1. The Chainsmokers spend an 11th week at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Closer.”

 

 

  1. The Weeknd remains stuck behind “Closer” with his own hit, “Starboy” (no. 2).

 

 

  1. Zay Hilfiggerrr & Zayion McCall enter the top 10 with “Juju On That Beat (TZ Anthem).” The song rises from no. 13 to no. 9.

 

 

  1. Gnash re-enters the top 10 with “I Hate U I Love U” (no. 11 to no. 10).

 

  1. Maroon 5’s “Don’t Wanna Know” slides four spots (no. 9 to no. 13), but gains in performance.

 

 

  1. Rae Sremmurd continue to ascend up the charts. “Black Beatles” jumps six spots from no. 22 to no. 16.

 

  1. Sia sees “The Greatest” enter the top 20 (no. 25 to no. 19).

 

  1. Drake takes “Fake Love” to no. 24 and “Sneakin’” to no. 38.

 

 

  1. Aminé sees “Caroline” ascend seven spots from no. 32 to no. 25.

 

 

  1. Pentatonix debuts at no. 32 with “Hallelujah.”

 

 

  1. Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons” re-enters the Hot 100 at no. 57. “A-YO” debuts at no. 66, while “Perfect Illusion” re-enters at no. 78.

 

  1. Jon Bellion inches up just one spot with “All Time Low” (no. 59 to no. 58).

 

 

  1. Little Mix takes “Shout Out to My Ex” to no. 69.

 

  1. After peaking at no. 67, Fitz and the Tantrums“HandClap” slips 8 spots from no. 67 to no. 75.

 

 

  1. Pitbull takes “Greenlight” to a no. 95 debut on the Hot 100.

 

  1. Travis Scott sees “Goosebumps” improve two spots from no. 100 to no. 98. As of yet, it’s peaked at no. 91.

 

 

  1. Russ’ “What They Want” debuts at no. 99.

 

  1. James Arthur takes “Say You Won’t Let Go” to a no. 100 debut.
