Handsome and talented pop musician GRANT KNOCHE keeps things hot and sexy on “INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS – MAN DOWN! Remix.”
“And if we didn’t get caught / Would you give into intrusive thoughts?” Fine. Hot. Sexy. Talented. These are perfect adjectives for pop singer/songwriter GRANT KNOCHE. He didn’t lie in his song, “LOOK AT ME RIGHT NOW” when he sang, “This is what hot shit looks like.” The 21-year-old standout first caught my eyes and ears in 2023. In search of music to write about for then LGBTQ Bopz column (now Beaming with Pride 🏳️🌈), I was impressed by his sexy single, “INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS”. Fittingly, the cover art featured a shirtless Knoche unzipping his already unbuttoned jeans. The song, written by Knoche, Gavin Hudner, and Jades Goudreault, appeared on his album, I COULD DIE JUST THINKING OF US. Now, in 2024, the bisexual hottie makes our eyes and ears perk up once again with “INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS – MAN DOWN! Remix”.
How do our eyes perk up, you ask? The cover art features our chiseled hottie lying shirtless on the bed, covering his face with his hand. Those intrusive thoughts, via the remix by MAN DOWN!, have overtaken him! It’s hard not to objectify. That said, the remix is fire. It runs shy of two-and-a-half minutes – 15 seconds longer than the original. MAN DOWN! gives “INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS” a clubbier, more danceable feel and vibe. The production is sleek with electrifying synths and a hard beat. The tempo is quicker too, making “INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS” feel brand-new with this mix. As he was in the original, Knoche’s vocals are sexy AF.
“Put your hands on my body like you know me
We can dance
Make me forget about the loneliness
All night
Make out, break off in one night
You’re all mine
Make out, break off in one night.”
“INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS – MAN DOWN! Remix” is the sugar honey iced tea. So is the ascending GRANT KNOCHE.
