Grammy-nominated Memphis rapper GloRilla cries foul about those “Internet Trolls” on her first solo single of 2023.
“Watch out for them internet trolls / They be tryna satisfy them internet goals,” 🎙 GloRilla asserts in the chorus of her single, 🎵 “Internet Trolls”. As always the 🏆 Grammy-nominated rapper is hard-nosed and unapologetic. Backed by a malicious 🎛 Hitkidd backdrop, she drops fiery bars.
In the first verse, she spits, “He that nigga for the people, but in person, he a bitch / They be gangster on the booth, but in them papers be a snitch.” Woo! Of course, the crown jewel of the verse: “They be broker than a motherfucker cappin’ like they rich.” NO CAP, GloRilla – NO CAP! The second verse is much like the first, with the rapper exuding THAT attitude. “I don’t be up in his likes, but I be in his bed, though,” and “‘Cause half you motherfuckers in real life ain’t even like that” takes the cake.
Final Thoughts 💭
Clocking in under two-and-a-half minutes, 🎵 “Internet Trolls” is an enjoyable, hard-hitting record from the Memphis rapper. GloRilla’s deep voice and bold, explicit bars make her quite successful, all told. “Internet Trolls” won’t change lives but it is sure to perk up your listening rotation.
