“W“We want to say we sound like 🎙 The Last Element, that makes us unique!” Hey, that response totally works for us! The band, who ‘sounds like themselves’ are the interviewees on our 157th Q&A in our Getting to Know… series.  Beyond the initial assertion, regarding our inquiry about their uniqueness, they add, “Each of our songs is packed with heartfelt lyrics and vocals, backed up by heavy and epic guitar and bass grooves. With killer drums laying the foundation for it all.” Can you say, rock on? Anyways, as always, we get some awesome insight into the rock band, and we’ll waste no more time with this introduction – we’ll let The Last Element speak for themselves! Without further ado, here is 🎤 Getting to Know… The Last Element: Interview #157!

Let’s get this started off right. For those who may not be familiar with The Last Element, what would you say makes your band distinct or unique? How do you rock the audience’s socks off?

🎤 We want to say we sound like The Last Element, that makes us unique! Each of our songs is packed with heartfelt lyrics and vocals, backed up by heavy and epic guitar and bass grooves. With killer drums laying the foundation for it all. There is a lot going on, but it has a distinct sound that blends perfectly. I think most of our fans will easily recognize us among the many bands. Furthermore, we focus on the music, we believe it’s a story we tell about everyone, we write music most can relate to and understand. It’s not about us, it’s about you!

The Last Element [📷 : The Last Element]Okay, let’s explore some juicy backstories. How did The Last Element form and what were some of the goals or the visions you had as a band early on?

🎤 The formation of the band has been a while ago, our final line-up was complete when Noah joined us and from there we really started an epic journey with better and better songs.
From the get-go we knew this band was more then another one of our projects. We’ve all been around, but with TLE we just knew we wanted to reach for the bigger places. Our goals are big and most of them are still goals we only dare to dream about but…. Slowly and surely, we managed to achieve more and more of them, so stay tuned cause we’re here to stay, ready to achieve more and more.

Let’s talk more about goals.  Have your goals or your perspectives changed since first starting out? What do your aspirations or goals look like now?

🎤 Not really, we always wanted to be one of the big bands, accessible for larger audiences but still loud! A big inspiration for that view has always been Linkin Park, they have heavy songs with screams but millions of fans. We don’t want to be limited in emotion and vibe in our music, but we still want to reach a lot of people. This has always been a view we’ve had, and we still work hard to accomplish that!

Everybody is influenced by somebody else. Who would you consider some of your biggest musical influences and how are they influential?

🎤 We’ve just mentioned one of our influences, others would be Bring Me The Horizon, Breaking Benjamin – all major bands. But in the end, we check out everything that’s available, music isn’t linear, and it’s not defined by a single genre. We love to listen to all that’s out there. Each of us listens to music a lot in their spare time, this will always influence you, but we don’t have a single style or artist. We just make what we love and take it from there.

The Last Element [📷 : The Last Element]Ah, the fun stuff.  What’s your craziest tour story or the wackiest thing that’s happened during a performance?  Feel free to be creative.

🎤 We are angels never crazy 😉.

Up until this point in your career, what would you describe as your favorite song you’ve recorded or performed live? What makes that song special?

🎤 This question is too hard… we can’t ask you to pick a favorite amongst your children, right??  But we would say the new tracks, that aren’t out yet, we really got some sick songs lined up. Filled to the brim with emotion. Each of our songs have a theme’s that play big parts in our singer’s life, so for him each one has its own story, but each of us can relate with different songs and themes that are prevalent in our own lives as well.

A song with a lot of power and emotion we love is 🎵 “Blood Diamond.” It’s our vocalist’s story about how he grew up and what shaped him to be who he is now. It has some really rough and dark edges, but in the end it all comes together and focuses on the positive in our lives. That’s something we all can relate to, we have hard and difficult times, but there are so many good things in life as well, if you keep that in mind, everything becomes a little brighter.

The Last Element [📷 : The Last Element]Is there anything else awesome, cool, or left of center the world should know about you? Secret talents or surprising tidbits?

🎤 There are a lot! We all have our own talents, maybe something funny is none of us has a tattoo… we all attended university and we all have pretty demanding jobs. Not your typical rock star life, right? But… appearances are deceiving, we’ve got a lot of rock going on.

Closing this thing out, what is The Last Element currently working on, promoting that you can share with us or want us to know about? We love secrets, but there’s no pressure.

🎤 We are working very hard on our next single… and it’s gonna be the next step we are sure about that. We might be able to let you know the title. It’s called 🎵 “Cut it Off,” but that’s it. The rest you’ll have to find out for yourselves 😉!

We are also working on new artwork and style to get everything more and more in line with the direction our music is headed. So, it’s only gonna get better and better from here on!

Thank you so much for sharing taking the time to answer these questions, and best of luck moving forward.
