Flo Milli, Flo Jackson [📷: RCA]Rapper Flo Milli gives zero f’s on her short, sweet, and unapologetic rap banger, “Flo Jackson.”

“I don’t want yo’ nigga, he needy / Eating real good, ass fat, I’m greedy / Cute face, it remind you of Tweety /Ain’t shit sweet but this pussy he eating.”
Holy shit, Flo Milli (Tamia Carter)! The rapper keeps it brief on “Flo Jackson”, which clocks in under two-and-a-half minutes.  She also keeps it buck, beginning with the blunt chorus excerpted above.  Carter penned “Flo Jackson” with Luke Marshall Beasley, and producers Kid Hazel (Ahmar Bailey), Alyx (Alexandre Levesque), and Splited Stupid (Nikita Murenets).

“Flo Jackson” commences with a dramatic, minor-key backdrop. One of the best musical touches of the accompaniment is the crying strings. Flo Milli brings it, dropping an aggressive, unapologetic performance. Per usual, her cadence and flow are compelling.  The section to beat is the chorus, excerpted earlier, and continued as follows:

“If he cheat, he gon’ get a reaction

I hate niggas that lie with a passion

When I’m losing my mind, I be laughing

Beat a nigga ass, feeling like Joe Jackson.”

It’s the Joe Jackson reference that makes the chorus clever. Instead of Joe, she’s Flo Jackson, beating ass! Beyond the chorus, Flo has her fair share of moments over the course of two verses.  “He better pray I don’t catch his ass lacking / Hit him in the head with a bottle I’m cracking,” she asserts, spiritedly in the first verse.  In the second, she coldly spits, “Block his ass, now he reading the thread / I’ll never know what his bitch ass said / Clock his ass, hit ‘em right in the head.” Woo! How many fucks does Flo Jackson, I mean, Flo Milli give on “Flo Jackson”? The answer is a big, fat zero!  The track is not the second coming, or the reinvention of rap, but Flo Milli talks her shit, no cap!
