Dylan Schneider, No Problem © InterscopeUp-and-coming, Indiana teen country artist Dylan Schneider showcases his potential on sound, well-rounded single, “No Problem.”

Who is Dylan Schneider? Dylan Schneider is an up-and-coming country musician from Indiana who is just 18-years old.  He’s signed to the relatively newly formed Nashville Division of Interscope. Up until this point, the teen musician has released three EPs: Wannabe (2016), 17 (2016), and Spotlight’s on You (2017).  Following a single from July 2017, “No Problem,” Schneider returns with yet another single, “No Problem.”

From the get-go, “No Problem” is country through and through.  While it’s not ‘overblown’ or over-countrified in its production or sound, Schneider clearly establishes the country identity without blurring lines.  This gives him some appeal to the more traditional base of listeners. In regards to his vocal performance, Schneider has a great instrument on his hands, yielding just the right amount of twang and nuance. While he doesn’t necessarily ‘wow’ with something different or ‘out of the ordinary,’ his soundness overall is impressive, particularly given his age.

In addition to rock-solid vocals and a pleasant sound, the chorus is the biggest selling point of “No Problem.” It’s fitting, given Schneider’s youth.  Furthermore, it’s catchy, delivered with rhythmic prowess.

“Girl, I think I got a no problem / On my hands, ’cause I can’t say no to you / Once you start you know I can’t stop it / Even if I wanted to / Yeah, I get tongue tied every time I try / To do what I oughta do / Girl, I got a no problem / Yeah, ’cause I can’t say no to you.”

Final Thoughts

As a song, “No Problem” is pleasant.  It’s not ‘the second coming,’ but as aforementioned, it’s well-rounded. Without a doubt, Dylan Schneider shows off his potential.  Bright future for the 18-year old? Definitely a good start.
