DaBaby "No Dribble" (with Stunna 4 Vegas) [Photo Credit: Interscope]Grammy-nominated rapper DaBaby keeps it simple and devoid of depth on his banger, โ€œNo Dribble.โ€ He taps Stunna 4 Vegas for the assist.

The bangers never seem to stop for DaBaby.  Early during his career, heโ€™s on fire. Sure, you can question the quality of his music, particularly the longevity, but right now, heโ€™s โ€˜on.โ€™ โ€œNo Dribbleโ€ appears on the deluxe edition of Blame it on Baby.  Here, heโ€™s assisted by Stunna 4 Vegas.

The wheel is not reinvented in the least on โ€œNo Dribble.โ€ Transcendence canโ€™t be found nor should it be expected.  This is a banger and nothing more.  SVNDS and Retro Future give DaBaby, well, banginโ€™ production for this banger.  He sets the tone with the tough chorus, filled with his usual acrobatic, agile rhymes. His confidence is through the roof. If nothing else, weโ€™re blessed with an ample dose of masculinity with the rapperโ€™s deep vocals:

โ€œIโ€™ma shot at a n***a, no dribble
I pull up with two-hundred bows in my rental
They was already sold when I sent โ€˜em
Take a backwood, I put strong in the middle...โ€

After the chorus, we get a verse characterized by sex and drip.  As usual, DaBaby talks about his dick and how it will be serviced โ€“ โ€œMake a TikTok on the dick, she official.โ€ My, oh my! Stunna 4 Vegas devotes his energy to violence and sex mostly.  Thereโ€™s nothing particularly charming about โ€œWe fill him with lead, he a pencil,โ€ lol.  That said, Stunna might have the best line of the whole song when he raps, โ€œI swing that stick like Wayne Gretzky.โ€ Of course, weโ€™re not talking about a hockey stick, but rather the โ€˜D,โ€ which he โ€œputโ€ฆon her then hit her bestie.โ€

Final Thoughts

Ultimately, โ€œNo Dribbleโ€ is successful in its endeavors, which aim low. Right now, aiming low for DaBaby is working, period.  Will there be a day that a record as basic as this one wonโ€™t rack up the streams? Of course, but for now, โ€˜itโ€™s not brought, so no need to fix it.โ€™
