In the 41^st edition of Wacky Wednesday (2025), we break down the unique “zombies,” performed by d3r, 6arelyhuman & Pröz. 

Do you know what day it is? It is Wednesday, folks! Do you know what that means? Why, it is Wacky Wednesday! In the spirited column Wacky Wednesday, we analyze, break down, and explore songs from various musicians of various genres that can be considered unique, unusual, or ‘wacky.’  These songs can be new or old; the only requirement is that they ‘catch the ears’ because of their distinctiveness.  With the background established, in the 41^st edition of Wacky Wednesday (2025), we break down the unique “zombies”, performed by d3r, 6arelyhuman, and Pröz. Wacky Wednesday vibes commence!

“Marry me, Pröz.” Woo! d3r, 6arelyhuman (they/them pronouns), and Pröz collaborate on the short but potent “zombies”. Pröz produced the minor-key joint. “Zombies” features a quick tempo.  The production sports sleek electronic production touches. A mammoth-like thudding beat anchors the record.  The hyperpop vibes are pronounced, particularly the dizzying synths.  Moving beyond the musical accompaniment, the vocals are fast-paced and rhythmic, serving up unapologetic lyrics.

“I’m a real zombie, pull up on the scene ho / Here’s my bitch, watch her eat your brains, she a freak ass ho,” d3r asserts in the chorus, and continues, “She likes my face, like the way it tastes, she bites it every day / I like the pain, I don’t give a fuck, I’m mentally insane.” He follows with the first verse, dropping gems like, “Zombie bitches give me stitches / Shoot my face and give me kisses,” and, “You could never harm me, I’m off bars, I’m a zombie.” Oh, shit! 6arelyhuman delivers the second verse. “Yeah, I popped up on the scene, and you know I fucking ate ‘em up,” they spit, adding, “If you don’t fuck with me, then I know that you lame as fuck.” D3r closes out with the chorus, excerpted above in all its memorable glory. Ultimately, “zombies” sounds like an adrenaline rush.
