Simply put, RollUpHills and Roomie make magic when they collaborate.  This cover of “That’s What I Like” is nothing short of magical.  At the conclusion of the song, for good measure, they incorporate a little “Cotton Eyed Joe” into the mix.  As overused as the word swag is, incorporating “Cotton Eyed Joe” into “That’s What I Like” can definitely be characterized as some mad swag.

Burgeoning pop artist Alex Aiono hasn’t “worked the middle” too much to drop more awesome covers. As always, Alex puts in work as he tackles “That’s What I Like.” For good measure, he throws in continually ascending R&B hit, “Location” by Khalid.  Clearly, Aiono possesses the full package: the voice, the swagger, and of course, pop star looks.

Little needs to be said about Sam Tsui – he’s been dropping hot covers for years on YouTube.  Once more, he strikes gold with “That’s What I Like,” showcasing his flawless, pitch-perfect pipes.  What stands out most about Tsui? His tone.  Shout out to Jason Pitts for his acoustic guitar accompaniment skills.

Joseph Vincent That's What I Like - Bruno Mars4. Joseph Vincent

That’s What I Like – Bruno Mars (Joseph Vincent Cover) (March 1, 2017)

Joseph Vincent delivers a sound take on “That’s What I Like,” accompanying himself on electric guitar. Vincent’s vibe is cooler and more mellow than Mars’, providing a solid contrast.  A sound vocal performance without being incredibly flashy, Vincent surprises at the end when he unleashes dead-on falsetto.  Killer good. Yet another talented musician ladies and gents, without question.

RAJIV DHALL BRUNO MARS - THAT'S WHAT I LIKE 5. RAJIV DHALL

BRUNO MARS – THAT’S WHAT I LIKE (Rajiv Dhall cover)

(March 2, 2017)

What is the best way to describe Rajiv Dhall’s cover of “That’s What I Like?” It’s dripping in swagger, as cliché as that might sound.  Dhall delivers an enthusiastic, impassioned take that suits his vocals perfectly.  At only 2:26, it’s too bad Dhall didn’t give us even more of the song to salivate over.
